Animal Diversity Web is an online database of animal natural history, distribution, classification, and conservation biology at the University of Michigan. This site is a great source for pictures, and will give you other links to follow for more information.

World Wildlife Fund's interactive endangered species web site, teaching people about the plight of tigers, pandas, rhinos, whales, and other species at risk. Includes a picture gallery for many, and a map of range for some.

The Endangered Species Program -This U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service site contains a comprehensive list of topics related to endangered species. There are endangered species lists and information, along with links.
IUCN Red List of Threatened Species
IUCN Red List of Threatened Species - The International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources Red List of Threatened Species assesses the conservation status of species, subspecies, varieties, etc. Good source for information on major threats to the species.
EE-Link: Endangered Species - An extensive amount of information about endangered and extinct species is available on this site. Laws and policies, lists, awards, curricula, lesson plans and activities, fact sheets, etc. Good site for definition of endangered/threatened species.
