Your assignment is to make a flip book of 30 common constellations.  For each constellation, you are to…

·         Draw (or copy from a book or the internet…cite your sources, please) the major stars that make it up

·         Name/label any 1st magnitude stars in the constellation

·         Name the season(s) it can be seen from the Northern (or Southern) Hemisphere

·         Describe the history of its name; what does the name mean?

·         Describe its historical significance (ie North Star)

Some websites that will help…  I simply went to Google.com and entered “constellations”
